With a current production capacity of 180 thousand tons of paper per year, the company is among the largest in the sector in the world.

The objective of the Special Papers Unit, Santher's first business unit, is to provide solutions in MG papers that meet the most diverse needs of customers with excellence, ensuring quality in line with the most stringent national and international requirements.

Our suite of certifications, combined with the undeniable quality of its products, makes it possible for Santher to serve the main converters worldwide in various types of market segments, such as flexible packaging, food packaging, cigarette packaging, interleaving, liners and kraft for bags.

Currently, Santher is a leader in the special paper segment within the national territory and has commercial partnerships with converters located in several countries around the world.

ISEGA – COMPLIANCE FOR THE FOOD INDUSTRY

International certificate issued after a set of analyses conducted in laboratory (ISEGA) proves that our papers meet the requirements and parameters determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and BRF (German Federal Institute) legislation to be in contact with food.

RDC Nº 88 - LAUDO OF COMPLIANCE WITH ANVISA'S RESOLUTION (June/2016)

We comply with the technical regulation on cellulosic materials, packages and equipment intended to be in contact with food, with a report issued by a reference laboratory in Brazil and valid for the entire Mercosur.

Types of Paper

Monolucid paper produced from bleached short fiber cellulose, developed with the necessary properties to meet the requirements of the most modern conversion processes in the packaging segment. It has excellent performance to process printing, lamination, paraffin embedding, siliconization, extrusion with polyethylene and thermal coating. It can be customized for specific packaging and converting applications.
